"wait! it's not an ice cream cone?" this is one of my most favorite expressions that I hear time and time again. last week jennifer a first timer asked this very question. to soothe and remedy her question i enticed and shared with her a sample of our delicious savory mushroom polenta cone. she extended her arm and opened her palm with a caution filled curiosity. immediately she visually inspected the sample and then with even more caution brought it to her nose for inspection. this is when the aromas of the truffle oil, thyme, smoked sea salt, and lemon in the mushrooms enjoyably overwhelmed her senses. now with eyebrows raised, pupils dilated, and a smirk she bit into the sample not expecting to taste the delicious thick and creamy polenta on the crispy spiced savory cone. this is when i felt that she was definitely in love. "what's in the sauce?", she asked with even more curiosity and a smile. I shared that drizzled on top is Lublubu's zesty stone ground mustard vinaigrette.
